Border Patrol: Judith Joined Operation RESOLUTE
Senator Adams took part in her second deployment in July 2008 in the Australian Defence Force Parliamentary Program. During this time the Senator participated in both Navy and Customs patrols as well as aerial surveillance operations. In July 2008 Judith joint the Border Protection Command: Operation RESOLUTE. This joint operation protects Australia’s offshore maritime interests. Judith spent five days at Horn and Thursday Islands in far north Queensland as well as joining in patrols of the Torres Strait in Navy and Customs Vessels, thus gaining a deep insight of the daily work they carry out.
The ACV Arnhem Bay is one of many Customs vessels patrolling and protecting Australia’s maritime borders.
