Border Patrol: Judith Joined Operation RESOLUTE
Senator Adams took part in her second deployment in July 2008 in the Australian Defence Force Parliamentary Program. During this time the Senator participated in both Navy and Customs patrols as well as aerial surveillance operations. In July 2008 Judith joint the Border Protection Command: Operation RESOLUTE. This joint operation protects Australia’s offshore maritime interests. Judith spent five days at Horn and Thursday Islands in far north Queensland as well as joining in patrols of the Torres Strait in Navy and Customs Vessels, thus gaining a deep insight of the daily work they carry out.

Army Attachment: Getting To Know NORFORCE
Judith embarked on an Australian Defence Program in May this year, joining the North-West Mobile Force (NORFORCE) regiment of the Australian Army. During this program the Senator participated in field operations and survival training.
